Pharmacology
Oxytetracycline is a product of the metabolism of Streptomyces rimosus and is one of the family of tetracycline antibiotics. Many strains of microorganisms have been shown to be resistant to Oxytetracycline, such as Staphylococcus, hemolytic Streptococcus, brucellosis, Escherichia coli and salmonella.
Indications
For the treatment of cow uterine infection caused by Oxytetracycline sensitive bacteria, such as E. coli, staphylococcus aureus, non hemolytic streptococcus or hemolytic streptococcus.
Dosage and Administration
Cows: 50-100mL, once every two days, repeat 3 times.
